Project Information
Church and Community Workers are devoted to uplifting the poor and disenfranchised in rural and urban areas throughout the United States. National Plan for Hispanic/Latino Ministry missionaries develop and strengthen ongoing Hispanic/Latino ministries within annual conferences. Young adult missionaries (US-2s and mission interns)serve short-term placements with leadership development and social justice opportunities.

Quick Facts
- There are about 50 Church and Community Workers serving in various annual conferences around the United States.
- The National Plan for Hispanic and Latino missionaries serve within the United States and focus on the development and strengthening of Hispanic/Latino ministries within the Annual Conference.
- The US-2 Program is a two-year opportunity for young adults (ages 20-30) to serve in the United States as missionaries working with issues of peace and justice.
- The Mission Intern Program is a leadership development and social justice opportunity for young adults (ages 20-30). The three-year program is divided into a 16-month international work/study assignment and a 16-month action/education assignment in one's own country.
- Youth groups and young adult groups are encouraged to form Covenant Relationships with young adult missionaries serving in the US-2 and Mission Intern programs.
